Size: 3m x 7cm x 1.5cm deep or 3000 mm x 70mm x 15mm deep Key Benefits Can be used on all types of walls and ceilings. Used with our other products it will meet the building regulations. Easily cut with tin snips Extremely lightweight Supplied in 3 metre lengths PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO DELIVERY METHODS THERE IS A MIN ORDER OF 10 BARS PER ORDER USE ON CEILINGS Resilient Bars are essential to help bring suspended timber floors into compliance with the building regulations for noise control through converted separating floors for flats. Used in connection with other sound insulating materials we supply (See Below), the bars will create an effective acoustic break between the bottom of the existing joists and the ceiling. If not fitted directly beneath the floor joists, Sound Reducing Resilient Bars can be supported by 50mm square battens screwed to the underside of any existing ceiling. (See installation instructions on More Info link below). The inclusion of the Bars combined with our Acoustic Mineral Wool between the joists and a double layer of 12.5mm Acoustic Plasterboard we would expect this to be around a 16dB improvement. This should make a considerable difference to reducing the noise nuisance thay you may be experiencing. USE ON WALLS Resilient Bars are also recommended in a similar way to upgrade walls; particularly effective at reducing loud music or bass sound passing though the wall.
